Abstract: This study investigated the relationship of job satisfaction and employee performance of the selected financial institutions specifically the Albaraka Banking Corporation and the Ahli United Bank particularly located in Manama area. Employee promotion, work delegation, work attitude, employee compensation, working condition and work itself were the indicators used to measure the significant difference in the perception of the respondents as well as the perceptual responses of the two banking institutions employees as to the relationship of the variables under study. This paper used the descriptive method of research to solve the problem stated in the study. For the statistical tools, the weighted mean was utilized to measure the level of job satisfaction of the respondents and the relationship of the indicators to the employee performance. The two mean test was used to find the significant difference in the perception of the respondents in terms of job satisfaction and the Pearson R was employed for the measurement of the relationship of the two variables under investigation. The respondents revealed that the level of their job satisfaction in the stated indicators was between fairly satisfactory to satisfactory and the rate of the indicators relationship to employee performance was between fairly related to above averagely related. The two groups of employees also revealed that there is a significant difference in their perception in terms of employee promotion, work delegation, work attitude and employee compensation but there is no significant difference in the respondents perception in terms of working condition and work itself. The Albaraka Banking Corporation and Ahli United Bank employees showed that job satisfaction and employee performance has a significant relationship in terms of employee promotion, work delegation, work attitude and employee compensation but with no significant relationship in the area of working condition and work itself. The researcher recommended that the management of the two banking institutions under study should have a clearer promotion scheme, should create a comprehensive work delegation process that has to be disseminated and explained to the employees. The two banking institutions must listen to the views of the employees as it is one of the primary techniques to create harmonious relationship in the organization. The two banking institutions should offer a better compensation packages which will motivate the employees for better performance and should also offer a better working place which is conducive for working environment and they should see to it that the employees know the reasonable expectation of the management from the staff and should also provide clearer job requirements to attain a better performance as expected from the employees.

Abstract: Testing different materials for their fatigue behaviour has been a major requirement before consider the material for use in any environment with continuous fluctuating load. There has been major evolution in the design of fatigue testing machines for over a century now. But the concept that was lacking in the testing industry was that of a fatigue testing machine that can simultaneously test the fatigue strength of two specimen. In this paper, the attempt to bring this concept to life has been explained. The design of this fatigue testing machine is different from other fatigue testing machines because it can hold two specimens at any given time.

Abstract: Crypto biometric system is widely used in many information security applications to generate cryptographic key using the human retina characteristics. Biometric features will improve the security of cryptographic system. In this paper three retina biometric features are used to generate the key. They include the end points, bifurcation points and islands. This work emphasizes upon unification of three features which enables to generate the secured cryptographic key. This work introduces a unique method to generate a more secured cryptographic key. This mode of operations in network security creates more complexity for hackers to crack. Thus, security is further enhanced using the above technique.

Abstract: TB is one of the leading causes of death worldwide, with a mortality rate of over 1.2 million people in [2010].When TB is left undiagnosed, mortality rates will be high. This paper presents an accurate approach for detecting TB using a well-known classifier known as the Multiclass SVM classifier. In this paper, we first extract the lung region using a graph cut segmentation method. For this lung region, we compute a set of texture and shape features, which enables the X-rays to be classify the lung region as normal, moderate or severe(TB affected) using a Multi-class SVM Classifier. In an effort to reduce the burden of TB, this recent approach achieves a maximum accuracy in identifying TB. This proposed system for TB manifestation achieves an accuracy of 94.3% compared with the earlier methods [1] which achieve an accuracy of 86%.We collect the dataset from SKS hospital and perform the classification for the received dataset. We compare the performance of the received dataset with the classifiers: KNN, SVM & Multi-class SVM classifier. Among the classifiers, the Multiclass SVM Classifier achieves a maximum accuracy. Hence the Multi-class SVM classifier is promising in achieving the maximum performance up to the human experts.

Abstract: WebOS is a newly emerging Operating System, accessible via a browser, with multiple integrated built-in applications that allow the user to easily manage and organize her/his data from any location. You can use your desktop as a virtual desktop on the web. In the wide area, application developers are forced to build abstractions themselves. This ad-hoc approach wastes programmer effort and system resources. To address these problems, WebOS provides basic operating systems services needed to build applications that are geographically distributed, highly available, incrementally scalable, and dynamically reconfiguring. This paper starts with an introduction of Webs and its benefits, but it also have some flaws related to security. We have reviewed some most interesting WebOS available nowadays and tried to provide a detailed description of their features. Experience with a number of applications developed under WebOS indicates that it simplifies system development and improves resource utilization.

DOI: 10.17148/IARJSET.2015.2110
Abstract: In general, the field of physical planning is multidisciplinary in nature and is concerned with planning of landuse, environment, infrastructure, transport networks, housing, etc., to meet the present and future needs of the people. One of the biggest challenges is teaching the fundamentals to the student beginners, thus orienting them towards such a multidisciplinary and dynamic field. In most institutes offering planning education in India, the fundamentals are taught through the studio on graphics and presentation techniques. However, the basic curriculum of this studio is most frequently oriented towards and influenced by the field of architecture than physical planning. Due to this, very often the students find it difficult to relate the knowledge gained in the first studio to the subsequent studios of the planning course. This paper attempts to relook at the pedagogy adopted for teaching the fundamentals of physical planning education. For this purpose, the authors discuss the most frequently adopted methods of teaching the first planning studio highlighting their merits and demerits. In this paper, the authors share their own pedagogical experimentation in teaching this studio. After a comprehensive review and analysis of various teaching approaches including the learnings from the experimentation, the authors emphasise a need for paradigm shift in pedagogy for the first planning studio, thus orienting the students more towards the field of physical planning.

DOI: 10.17148/IARJSET.2015.2111
Abstract: The world is producing more statistical information than ever before and many people feel over whelmed by it. It is important to know what information we should pay attention to, and what to do with these and how to use them.Since political, economic and other social conditions are rapidly changing, a researcher has to be equipped well to deal with them and use the appropriate tools with caution. This requires that the researcher has enough exposure and familiarity with different tools and techniques as the onus of selecting and implementing the right one rests with the researcher. In order to fulfil this responsibility, the researcher has to pay attention to every small details of the study, right from data collection, measurement of data, using the right tool for different types of data and making the correct inferences from the data using the correct and valid techniques of analysis. A very important aspect in this is that the researcher should become conversant with the available tools and the situations in which they can be used.

DOI: 10.17148/IARJSET.2015.2112
Abstract: India's construction sector is among the fastest growing in the world, ranking in the top five global construction markets. Everywhere it operates, the construction sector has issues and obstacles. However, these obstacles and challenges coexist with a generalised state of socioeconomic stress, ongoing resource shortages, institutional flaws, and an overall incapacity to address the fundamental problems of developing nations like India. Millions of women who work in the construction industry are the pillars of economic development. In addition to earning far less than men, they demand equal pay for equal work and a good working environment in the workplace. The study explores the socio-economic status of women construction workers in Tamil Nadu to assess the prevailing conditions in the study area. The study's empirical data came from a primary survey conducted in a few Tamil Nadu districts. It should be acknowledged that workers must be provided with decent working conditions, a minimum salary, and access to a minimal level of social security. The study concludes that one of the industries that is essential to ensuring that people live well is the construction sector and socioeconomic development is inevitable.
