ABSTRACT : Due to the advancement of technologies all the automotive industries have advanced further and all the automotive instruments has been changed but all the components related to the power train are still intact and all are being used. And one of the major components is the clutch that is being used to transmit the power from the main engine shaft to the gear box and it will be further transferred and helps the vehicle to run. In this research work all the forces and the stress acting on the clutch along with motion of the vehicle is being so that it wouldn’t fail under the normal circumstances and all the above tasks are being carried out using CAD and CAM software’s named CATIA used for designing of model and ANSYS for the simulation of the CAD model.
