Abstract: Fitness and regular physical activity are important for maintaining a healthy and active lifestyle. However, busy schedules, lack of motivation, limited guidance, and difficulty in tracking progress can make it difficult for people to maintain a consistent routine. The Fitness and Sports problem encourages student innovations that use technology to increase physical activity and maintain fitness. This paper proposes a technology-assisted fitness and sports monitoring approach that can collect movement, duration, repetitions, and activity-level information using smartphones, sensors, or wearable devices. The system can organize this information, provide progress feedback, support goals and reminders, and use achievement-oriented features to encourage continued participation. The approach is intended for home exercise, outdoor activity, and sports training. It is a fitness-support concept rather than a replacement for professional medical or specialized sports guidance.
