Abstract: Grinding is the machining process which improves dimensional accuracy and improves surface quality. Cylindrical grinding is process of final finishing operation. During this review work input process parameters are cutting speed, feed rate, depth of cut, material hardness, grinding wheel speed, grain size, conditions used and to achieve optimize process parameters Taguchi optimization technique with L9,L18 array used for design of experiment. This study provides a review on optimization of machine parameters by different techniques. Keywords: Grinding, Cylindrical grinding, Surface roughness, Material removal rate, Optimization, Taguchi.
