NON- GOVERNMENTAL ORGANISATIONS FOR WOMEN IN VELLORE DISTRICT

Abstract: The paper summarizes the study of the development and empowerment of women with a special reference to Non - Governmental Organizations in Vellore district of Tamil Nadu. The study intends to identify the role and participation of various NGOs by actively initiating many welfare programs and income generating projects for rural women. The work of the study progressed with the data collected from NGOs and SHGs women of Vellore district of Tamil Nadu.
