Geothermal Energy Potential of Egypt – Review Paper
Walid Tarek Kortam, Ayman Abbas, Ahmed A.A. Attia
DOI: 10.17148/IARJSET.2022.9101
Abstract: With global concerns over climate change due to fossil fuel emissions, and global initiatives to limit the adverse effects fossil fuel emissions at the current rate will potentially cause, Egypt along with the other countries have a role in limiting their fossil fuel emissions. Egypt's "vision 2030" targets tackling the emissions by including solar, wind and hydro resources as clean sources for electricity production. Studies show that Egypt has potential geothermal resources that could be utilized in direct heating applications and even for small scale electricity production. These resources have yet to be exploited but could potentially aid Egypt in meeting its future energy demands in a "cleaner" way. This paper reviews the available literature related to geothermal potential studies of Egypt.

A Review of Automatic Cleaning Systems for Photovoltaic Solar Panels
Ahmed Ammar Kalaji, Ayman Salah Abbas, Mahmoud Magdy
DOI: 10.17148/IARJSET.2022.9103
Abstract: Many factors effect on the efficiency of the photovoltaics panels such as soiling, environment, the design of the panel and even if the whole system includes a tracking mechanism. Taking into consideration the previous factors will allow the panel to give the maximum possible power. The accumulated dust and dirt over the photovoltaics panels will stick over it and will act like a shield preventing the rays from the sun to hit the surface of the panels. The studies shows that the panels will decrease more than 30% because of the dust accumulation. That is why the panels must be cleaned regularly. This paper provides a review of the dust problem as well as recent developments in automated solar photovoltaic module cleaning systems, including a short overview of techniques such as electrical, mechanical, chemical, and electrostatic cleaning. The study's main goal is to conduct a literature review on solar photovoltaic module automated cleaning techniques in order to identify research gaps in automated cleaning systems.

DOI: 10.17148/IARJSET.2022.9107
Abstract: Three-phase separators are very useful for the separation of hydrocarbons and water. Their applications have added value to the oil and gas industry as well as minimize the negative impacts of oil and gas operations on the environment. The major challenge faced by Aje gas and condensate field is the issue of production of natural gas that contains water vapor of which if not removed can form hydrates, which may block pipeline, choke and valve. These Water can also cause corrosion in pipeline as well as cause damage to high speed compressor blades. The aim of this thesis is to develop a model and simulate the liquid separation from gas stream in HYSYS. Then, evaluate the amount of water collected from the gas stream after separation and then recommend a way of removing such water that exist in solution in natural gas. The model was designed and simulated using ASPEN HYSYS V8.8 simulation package. The separator effectiveness was investigated by evaluating the amount of water collected from the gas stream after separation. From the simulation result taken from the product stream, the Vapour Stream produces little amount of both water vapour (of about 1% concentration) and dry gas with high concentration of methane and ethane (of about 33%)and entrained higher amount NGL with high concentration propane, butane and pentane (typically 66%),while the Light Liquid stream also produces higher amount of NGL with high concentration of propane, butane and pentane as well (typically 99%)with little amount of entrained dry gas of ethane concentration (of about 1%) and the Heavy Liquid stream produces only water (typically 100% of the entire concentration). Therefore, these result shows that the horizontal separator is effective in separating the streams into their respective three phases. However, the little amount of water vapour (typically 1%) that is associated with the natural gas in the vapour stream can be negligible as hydrate inhibitor based on chemical inhibitor such as homopolymers or copolymers of cyclic amide (lactam) is injected into the pipeline alongside with the natural gas containing the 1% water vapour to delay the nucleation and crystal growth of hydrates during transportation. This approach can lead to substantial cost savings because of the small amount of the inhibitor is required for injection into a pipeline containing 1% of the weight of water in natural gas stream than spending a lot of income to dehydrate such amount of water vapour in processing plant.

DOI: 10.17148/IARJSET.2022.9108
Abstract: Noise pollution which is considered as the second most hazard environmental type of pollution after air pollution has been increasing day by day due to rapid urbanization and industrialization. In this noisy life situation, people try to access calm areas to take fresh breath. We need to follow the Noise Pollution (Regulation and control) Rules 2000 and subsequently amended rules on time to time for the proper management of noise pollution. The rules confirmed the need for preventing or reducing noise levels that may negatively affect human health, including annoyance and sleep disturbance. This paper provides a view of noise policies and rules in India. Noise abatement and control based on the available knowledge on noise policies and rules are also discussed in this study. The work focuses on the ambient air quality standards in respect of noise for different areas/ zones.

DOI: 10.17148/IARJSET.2022.9109
Abstract: Geometrical anisotropy of small molecules with high polarizability may exhibit one or more liquid crystalline phases as well the familiar crystalline and isotropic phases. Structure and bonding in liquid crystals is important and diverse field in the interface between modern physics and chemistry. Structure-property relationship has been a key issue for the study of liquid crystals. Characteristically, it has been observed that liquid crystalline compounds have a rigid core, which acts as the mesogenic unit, and flexible alkyl chains at the terminal ends. The strong dipole-dipole interaction exhibits the crystalline phase and has higher thermal stability. To understand the liquid crystalline properties, the IR spectra and Raman activities of 4, 4'-Methoxy Bis-Hydrazone were calculated using DFT method. The vibration associated with peaks was discussed. The atomic charges with point dipoles were also computed and discussed. The Humo-Lumo gap as representation of ionization potential, thus computed. DOI: 10.17148/IARJSET.2022.9110
Abstract: Higher education is of considerable significance, as it not only enables students to pursue a better future, but also for countries to compete in the global market by improving their economic and social position. Higher education is typically provided at different levels by public and private universities, where students can receive guidance for education and research. However, at present, with increased number of higher education institutions and lack of quality education in most them is of great concern. This scenario exerts pressure on governments and managements of private and public sector institutions to implement advanced methodologies and compete with global education systems. Nevertheless, the fact that providing higher education is just a service, is generally neglected. Hence, there is a need to evaluate and ensure service quality in higher education. This paper aims to review the existing studies and emphasize on the significance and further direction of service quality in higher education.

DOI: 10.17148/IARJSET.2022.9112
Abstract: Macrocyclic compounds have attracted increasing interest owing to their role in understanding of molecular processes occurring in biochemistry, material science, and catalysis. It is well known that N atoms play a key role in the coordination of metal at the active sides of numerous metallobiomolecules. Macrocycles can selectively bind different cations in agreement with the size of the cycle, as well as the nature and number of the heteroatoms belonging to the cycle. Hydrazone Schiff bases of acyl, aroyl and hetero aroyl compounds have additional donor sites like C=O. The additional donor sites make them more flexible and versatile. Nitrogen-containing macrocycles were synthesized in quantitative yield by reacting carbohydrazide and dialdehydes which were derived from salicylaldehyde by cyclocondensation. All the newly synthesized compounds were characterized by elemental analysis, IR, NMR and Mass spectroscopy.

DOI: 10.17148/IARJSET.2022.9114
Abstract: Heritage Structures often possess Historical, Architectural, Associative and/or Cultural Significance. These Structures need to be cared about and well preserved to keep up the legacy of the structure. The 3D model of the structure is obtained through various equipment like photogrammetry, LIDAR, Unmanned Aerial Vehicles (UAVs), Terrestrial Laser Scanner etc. Their usage has proved to be both highly accurate and time saving when compared to the traditional methods. The data obtained from them is in the form of a cloud, mesh or spatial data which helps in arriving at efficient methods for the conservation of the structure. Using spatial data, on site remains, historical sources, the structure (if partially or completely damaged) can be digitally reconstructed and it can depict the evolution of the structure over the years after being constantly subjected to various external factors. The digitally preserved structure can also be used in the virtual reality space for further applications for instance to promote tourism or creating virtual environments. Using UAVs, historic Structures can be monitored periodically to study the disintegration of the structure. The paper also explores intermediate methods like Virtual Tour Environments (VT) and Information Modelling (IM) which lie between the 3D Digital Documentation and traditional methods.

DOI: 10.17148/IARJSET.2022.9119
Abstract: Industry Automation using PLC is a universally accepted approach due to its functionality and configurations from a small scale process having limited I/O to a large scale industry having thousands of I/O. For recent years with the advent of Industry 4.0 Concept devices are configured with the in-built network connectivity which makes device itself as a Server for Remote Access of its parameters. The same concept is also utilized at the Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs) for the recent years. Web Server - a technology being used by different PLC vendors nowadays allows the users to facilitate their automation projects with remote internet based access. The same concept is implemented here to showcase how economically, a small process can also have the same high-end remote access with minimal configuration. Batch Mixing Process is taken as the application, where user freedom to select the mixing components based on different demand. Siemens PLC CPU Simatic S7-1212C Controller, which is having inbuilt Web Server feature is used for automation here. While designing the project it is kept in mind that the one with less technical knowledge can also operate it.

Real-Time Drowsiness Detection
Royson Lobo, Shreyas H S, Divya T L
DOI: 10.17148/IARJSET.2022.9122
Abstract: The human body requires nearly 7 to 8 hours of sleep. But due to work stress it is lacking. Due to a lack of sleep and irregular sleep cycles, humans tend to feel drowsy at any time of the day. Hence with these poor work-life timings, people may find it difficult to perform tasks such as driving that require mental and physical health and well-being. Sleepless driving can cause problems and therefore it is necessary to be awake while driving. Due to the drowsiness of drivers, accidents are caused which kill thousands of people worldwide every year. Therefore there is a need for a sleep sensor application to help prevent such accidents and save lives. In this regard, we propose a system based on neural networks (CNN) and a Haar cascade classifier with a user interface to deal with the problem. In this research we aim to develop a prototype "Real-time drowsiness detection system". The system monitors the driver's eyes and rings the alarm while he is drowsy. This system is object oriented, which is built using OpenCV library in python where the images are gathered from the webcam and fed into a Haar based algorithm which will detect face and eyes and later a CNN model which will predict whether the person's eyes are 'Open' or 'Closed'. A web application for this model with a user interface and also a CSV file to store the details of the user is developed. Experiments were conducted to test the effectiveness of the proposed method in comparison to other methods. The empirical results show that the proposed method using deep learning techniques can achieve a high accuracy of 98.5%. This study provides a solution to prevent automobile accidents due to drowsiness.

Characteristically, it is observed that liquid crystalline compounds have a rigid core, which acts as the mesogenic unit and flexible alkyl chains at the terminal ends. The strong dipole-dipole interaction exhibits the crystalline phase and has higher thermal stability. To understand the liquid crystalline properties, the IR spectra and Raman activities of 4,4'-disubstituted biphenyl (HO(CH2)9OC6H4.C6H4CN) were calculated using DFT method. The vibration associated with peaks was discussed. The atomic charges with point dipoles were also computed. The Humo-Lumo gap as representation of band gap, thus computed.

DOI: 10.17148/IARJSET.2022.9126
Abstract: Prediction of elastic properties using crossplot analyses and seismic inversion quantitative interpretation in Zeta field was carried out to improve quantitative interpretation in the field. The dataset used comprises of well logs and full stack seismic data. Rock attribute properties modelled from well logs and analysed in the cross-plot space show strong sensitivity to reservoir lithology and fluids. The cross-plot of lambda-rho (λρ) versus mu-rho (μρ) distinguishes the reservoirs into shale, brine sands, oil sands and gas sands. The cross-plots show that hydrocarbon sands have low λρ and high μρ values. λρ is sensitive to fluid and μρ sensitive to rock matrix only. This makes μρ versus λρ a good fluid discriminator. This suggests that the inversion result could be useful to distinguish sands from shale and brine from oil. Simultaneous seismic inversion method was applied to transform seismic reflection data into quantifiable rock properties. Results reveal low lambda-rho values which are indicative of hydrocarbon saturated-sands. These values confirm the availability of hydrocarbons around Wells 3, 4 & 5 locations and to the North-west of the horizon's slices. However, shale zones and brine are observed to the western part of the field and surrounding the hydrocarbon zones, indicating probable depleted zones and/or source rock. Moderately compacted clean hydrocarbon filled reservoir sands exhibits relatively high values of mu-rho due to their high opposition to shearing, while unconsolidated clean hydrocarbon saturated reservoir formations exhibit low mu-rho values. The inversion indicates that lambda-Rho attribute is more diagnostic of fluid characterization. This study can be applied in identification of new prospects as an effective economic and decision-making tool.

DOI: 10.17148/IARJSET.2022.9127
Abstract: Though millets are three to five times nutritionally superior to the widely promoted rice and wheat in terms of proteins, minerals and vitamins and antioxidants, the consumption of rice and wheat rates higher than millets. The present study was aimed to know the attitude, preference, and consumption pattern of millets among the female young adults. The study participants were the female young adults between 20 to 28 years of age who pursued their post-graduation and research in various disciplines. Data regarding the preference, attitude, reasons for their preference, frequency, and form of millet consumption among female young adults were collected using the Google questionnaire through WhatsApp and around 100 students submitted the forms completely. Incomplete forms were excluded from the study. It was found that 89% of the respondents consumed millets, majority of the respondents (58%) consumed millets as it is healthier and 26 % loved the taste, 90% of them recorded millets as nutritious, three percent considered it as expensive and six percent of them looked millets as rural food. Only four percent of the respondents were recorded for daily consumption of millets and 23% consumed millets weekly 3/4 times. The millet-based food products consumed among the respondents were kichadi (16%), roti (25%), snacks (20%), bread (6%), traditional sweets (7%), kali/porridge (7%), and dosa/adai (8%). Majority of the respondents (91±2.3) knew about millet cookies, little millet vermicelli (88±4.4), multi millet noodles/pasta (82±5), millet biscuits (92±2.1), multi-millet idli/dosa/adai mix (85±3.4). It was revealed that the respondents were aware about the nutritional benefits of millet consumption, and they were not actually consuming millets regularly. To increase the consumption of millets, ease of availability should be made explicitly among the children and young adults. Further, like the major cereals like rice and wheat, millets could be supplied through the Public Distribution System.

DOI: 10.17148/IARJSET.2022.9128
Abstract: In recent years, technology has advanced at a breakneck pace, making human existence simpler in a variety of ways. The Internet of Things is widely employed in daily objects, and its popularity is growing by the day. The design and implementation of an IoT and mobile-based vehicle fuel / tank level activities such as real-time fuel/water monitoring are covered in this article. Capacitance is used in the suggested IoT gadget to measure the amount of fuel/water. The driver receives a notification through mobile application when the vehicle's fuel/water reaches a specified level. A capacitive sensor for detecting water level has been created. As can be seen from the impedance (reactance) equation for a capacitor, it often has a high-impedance sensor, especially at low frequencies. In addition, in most cases, a capacitive sensor is a non-contacting device . In this study, copper plates were used to produce a capacitive fuel/water level sensor. The fuel/water level determines the dielectric constant between two plates. As a result, because it is inversely proportional to sensor impedance, it may be utilised to calculate fuel/water level from electrical characteristics. Signal conditioning for the system includes linearization, inverting amplifiers, and rectifier circuits.

Abstract: The project is about a machine that automatically feeds pets daily for a minimum of eight hours while all members of the nuclear family are busy at work to live in big cities and other cities. This set is automatically controlled by an arduino. Pets can get food after half an hour and the same can be monitored by looking at eating habits if the pet is. and the pet owner always ensures the feed of the pet especially dogs and cats when they are busy at work. Pet food is kept inside the box as they leave the house. Food will be given to pets automatically up to a certain amount only when the pet comes close to the box when it feels hungry. It is a very good idea to protect pets from starvation whenever there is no one at home and they are all busy with their planned work and office or business. The owner can leave pets at home in the event of any emergency as well. The cost of caring for a pet has been reduced due to the introduction of such equipment on the market.

DOI: 10.17148/IARJSET.2022.9134
Abstract: With the increasing advancements in the automation sector, the need for automation in packaging is also developing dramatically. One of the major processes of packaging is stamping and sealing the final product. Before the industrial revolution, there was little advancement in this field. To exemplify, initially, it was a manual task and the workers used to stamp the product by hand, which took a lot of time and manpower. Also, the use of hydraulics systems is dangerous for instance hydraulic fuel is prone to ignite and thus it makes the whole system dangerous to use. Further, the small and medium scale industries could not afford the expensive automatic stamping machines at that time. To overcome this problem, we came up with the idea of a portable and automatic stamping machine using pneumatic for all kinds of tasks. This standard and optimized stamping machine can be used by all kinds of industries. This paper will bring out the design and implementation of a stamping machine using the described components.

DOI: 10.17148/IARJSET.2022.9143
Abstract: Utilization of diminishing specialist is fundamental when you need to make any nano-molecule at its natural state. For eg., the instance of metal nanoparticle, for example, Au, Ag and so forth You might realize that when matter is estimated down, there is a colossal raise in its without surface energy. This prompts an immense expansion in both synthetic and actual association of the nano particle with its encompassing. In one hand it builds the surface synthetic reactivity. The diminishing specialist lessens the shot at it responding with encompassing particularly to get oxidized. Then again, the raise in surface free energy likewise actuates its actual reactivity. For instance, prompting molecule conglomeration prompting an increment in the molecule size. Here a size balancing out specialist otherwise called covering specialist will deal with this. In this way, a diminishing specialist plays an alternate part contrasted with that of a covering specialist. Both can be utilized simultaneously. Anyway their singular organization contrast from one case to another contingent upon need. Individuals likewise distinguished a few specialists that can do the double job effectively eg., certain sodium citrate and barely any amines. In any case, this is likewise restricted to the prerequisite/utilization of the nano particle. Since the surface change would impact its exhibition in a given application.

DOI: 10.17148/IARJSET.2022.9150
Abstract: Telescopic shaft is very important part of machine. It should be accurately machined with the acceptable tolerance. Also the fluctuations of dimensions in work-piece to work piece should be minimum so that it will be easier to assemble in machine. But it has been observed that the required dimensions for the larger end diameter and smaller end diameter for the telescopic shaft are not continuously achievable by using the existing fixture. In machining fixtures, minimizing workpiece deformation due to clamping and cutting forces is essential to maintain the machining accuracy. Fixture is required in various industries according to their application. This can be achieved by selecting the optimal location of fixturing elements such as locators and clamps. The fixture set up for component is done manually. For that more cycle time required for loading and unloading the material. So, there is need to develop system which can help in improving productivity and time. Fixtures reduce operation time and increases productivity and high quality of operation is possible. The proposed fixture will fulfilled researcher production target and enhanced the efficiency, reduces operation time and increases productivity, high quality of operation, reduce accidents.

Diasporic Feminism and Benevolent Sexism in Jhumpa Lahiri’s “The Namesake”
Ramkrishna Mitra
DOI: 10.17148/IARJSET.2022.9152
Abstract: "Sometimes we feel we straddle two cultures; at other times, that we fall between two stools", as Salman Rushdie believes and is truly applicable to "The Namesake" of Jhumpa Lahiri who corresponds her native Indian culture, specifically her Bengali heritage 13,316 km away in the distant land of the USA. Locating and analysing the interior fabrication of the oppressed and unheard female voice, the prominently expressed internalized sexism and benevolent sexism related to culture, tradition and language is the summum bonum of this study. The cumulative patriarchal pattern to subdue the resonant uniqueness of female identity and familial expectations is an age old conspiracy. "The Namesake" succeeds to project the inner catastrophes of the noticeable characters like Ashima Ganguly and Moushumi Mazoomdar along with the characters like Sonia Ganguly, Maxine Ratliff, Ruth, Lydia Ratcliff and Judy. Regarding rootlessness and cultural identity, the conflict between two terms, gender and sex are more prominent in the character of Ashima as she belongs to a conservative Bengali family where she learns from the household chores like cooking, stitching to Wordsworth. But Moushumi, the wife of Gogol and Ashima's daughter -in-law is radical. This critical study is a conscious attempt to hear the unheard voices of the women characters against the hostile sexism in the diasporic domain of English literature.

DOI: 10.17148/IARJSET.2022.9162
Abstract: In recent years, metal matrix composites (MMCs) attracted researchers more as they become one of the most important structural materials depending on the requirement. Specifically, the particulate reinforced aluminium metal matrix composites have received significant attention due to the improved mechanical and tribological properties such as strength, stiffness, impact resistance, wear resistance etc. The ceramic particles such as silicon carbide and aluminium oxide are the most widely used for reinforcement of aluminium matrix. In recent times, the growing concern of manufacturing industries is to use cost-effective reinforced Aluminium metal matrix composites for meeting their production rates with the least cost considerations without sacrificing the specific properties. In this context, several attempts were made by the researchers to use various materials such as graphite, red mud, bagasse ash, rice husk ash, fly ash etc. for reinforcement of the Aluminium metal matrix. An attempt has been made to employ Aloe vera powder as a reinforcement material for Aluminium metal matrix composites as it is readily available less dense eco-friendly material at low cost and it could be the alternative to other materials in respect of better physical and mechanical properties. In the present work stir casting method is employed for preparing the specimens of Aluminium matrix composite with aloe vera reinforcement. An experimental study has been carried out on the mechanical characterization of aluminium metal matrix composites using aloe vera as reinforcement material. The findings of the experimental investigation reveal that there is a significant improvement in mechanical properties such as hardness, tensile strength when aloe vera is used as reinforcement material.

SECOND ORDER ANALYSIS OF OIL AND GAS PROCESS PIPE RACK STEEL STRUCTURE FOR LATERAL LOADS
Ankur R. Birari, Abhijeet A. Galatage, Nikhil L. Landge
DOI: 10.17148/IARJSET.2022.9168
Abstract: The technological platforms and pipe racks are structures in oil and gas refineries, Petrochemical, chemical and power plants are primarily steel structures which occupy large space for critical operations and effective routing of large diameter pipes. Technological platforms and process pipe racks are the main arteries of process plant as they are designed to support pipes, power cables and instrument cable trays. The seismic evaluation of these pipe rack supporting structures in refineries is one of the most important part of structural analysis for safe and stable production. Pipe racks are mostly long, narrow structures that carry pipes in longitudinal as well as transverse direction. These pipe racks are prone to large displacements during major earthquake ground motions. These earthquake loads acting laterally causes large displacement and thus sway criteria become critical. This sway can lead to large deformation of structure and may collapse easily. To avoid these problems, we consider Second Order Effect i.e., P - Delta effect in designing. As the height of structure increases, P- Delta effect becomes important. The P-Delta analysis can be done for both static and dynamic analysis. In this study, static analysis is carried out on pipe rack structure and results based on storey displacement, moments and storey drift are observed. It is observed that 9% displacement of column is increased when second order analysis is carried out. The use of Second Order analysis results in more realistic behaviour of the structure. In this dissertation it is observed that for wind loads and mid-scale earthquakes, bracing members get failed after performing second order analysis. Since this study is done for short run, the displacement variation is observed by 9%. Due to these variations in displacement and moment, bracings have failed. If this analysis carried out on long run, then variations will increase definitely and it may cause failure in structure.
